STN Pari-Mutuel Race Wagering Account -Terms and Conditions
- Welcome to STN pari-mutuel race wagering accounts (Interactive Player Terminals or STN Sports App) offered by Station Casinos LLC (“STN”). By opening a STN pari-mutuel race wagering account (IPT or STN Sports App) or by using www.stnsports.com you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these terms and conditions, as well as STN race wagering account house rules, Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, specific event wagering rules, or any other rules that may apply to your STN race wagering account or wagering activities using the account. If you do not accept and agree to the terms and conditions, Privacy Policy, and rules for STN race wagering account, you may not use a STN race wagering account in any way.
- STN race account wagers are accepted throughout the State of Nevada. Nevada law prohibits wagers originating from outside the State of Nevada. It is illegal to place a wager originating outside the State of Nevada using a STN race wagering account.
- All STN race account applications must be made in person and applicants must provide STN with an acceptable and valid proof of identification, proof of residence, social security number, and other information.
- All account applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Wagering accounts may be opened with an authorized STN account representative at any participating STN race property (STN properties) or elsewhere.
- All STN race wagering account transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, must be made by the account holder only. Agents or other representatives are not permitted. Wagering accounts may be used only by the person named on the application for such account. The initial deposit into a wagering account, as well as all withdrawals, may be made either in person (and signed and authorized by the account holder at a STN Race Book during normal business hours) or via an authorized prepaid card. (See www.stnsports.com for program details.) Subsequent deposits to, and withdrawals from, wagering accounts may be conducted at your registration property or via an authorized prepaid card.
- Deposits to wagering accounts must be made with cash, approved chips, or an authorized prepaid card.
- STN race patrons with wagering accounts may be required to provide account number and acceptable valid identification when conducting account transactions.
- A STN race wager will not be accepted if the total value of the wager exceeds the wagering account’s balance.
- STN race account wagers will be deducted directly from the account holder’s wagering account balance. Winnings from wagers will be credited directly to the account holder’s wagering account.
- STN race account minimum and maximum wagers and limits are subject to change without notice.
- Winning tickets subject to IRS reporting and/or withholding will not be posted to the account until all information has been verified and proper signatures are obtained. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the account holder.
- STN race wagers are accepted when race tracks are open and available to accept wagers or during normal Race Book hours of operation, unless STN determines otherwise.
- STN race account rules, upon regulatory review, are subject to change by STN at any time. Please visit our website at www.stnsports.com and review the rules regularly to learn of any changes. We may update or change the STN race account rules, terms and conditions, or Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion and without advance notice. Your continued use of your STN race wagering account after the posting of any change to the rules, terms and conditions, or Privacy Policy constitutes your binding acceptance of such change. If any change is unacceptable to you, you must stop using STN race wagering account entirely and close your STN race wagering account.
- All applicable STN Race Book rules, state and federal laws, and Nevada Gaming Commission (“NGC”) regulations apply to STN race wagering accounts.
Upon request, STN will provide the Wagering Account Holder with a detail wagering report for each waging account, which includes the following information.
a. Account number;
b. Beginning balance;
c. List of all transactions which includes the following:
- Date and time;
- Amount of transaction;
- Transaction type (e.g., deposit, withdrawal, etc.);
- Gaming area, if applicable; and
- Employee(s) who authorized the transaction.
- Totaled by credits and by debits; and
e. Ending balance.
Note: Credit as defined by NGC Regulation 5.225(11) and debit as defined by Regulation 5.225(12).
- Wagering Account Holder may dispute any transaction according to NGC Regulation 7A or Title 41 of the 2010 Nevada Code (NRS 463.361- 463.366), as applicable.
- For all wagers, STN shall make a voice, print, electronic, or other approved record of the entire transaction and shall not accept any wager if the recording system is inoperable. STN’s record of a Wagering Account Holder’s confirmation of wagers shall be deemed to be the transaction of record. Such records are made available to the NGC Board upon request.
- You acknowledge that race wagers are not deemed accepted until the wager is confirmed through a message from the application. You understand and agree that any malfunction of the STN race mobile app system, or other device or system failure may void all payouts. A Wagering Account Holder shall immediately inform the race book in the event the patron believes any error has occurred related to his account, his wager, or any other transaction with the race book. Any funds or winnings credited to an account in error will not be available for use until such error is resolved.
- You acknowledge that once a wager has been confirmed by the STN race mobile account system, the wager is binding on both parties and CANNOT be modified, cancelled, or voided by either party.
- STN, in its sole and absolute discretion, has the right to:
a. Refuse to establish a wagering account for what it deems good and sufficient reason;
b. Refuse deposits to wagering accounts for what it deems good and sufficient reason;
c. Refuse to accept all or part of any wager for what it deems good and sufficient reason;
d. Declare that any or all wagers will no longer be received; and
e. Unless there is a pending NGC Board investigation or patron dispute, suspend or close any wagering account at any time pursuant to the terms of the agreement between the STN and the patron, provided, however, when a wagering account is closed, STN shall immediately return the balance of the wagering account at the time of said action, subject to compliance with NGC regulations, STN’s house rules, and federal and state laws and regulations, by sending a check to the patron’s address of record or as otherwise provided pursuant to the terms of the wagering account agreement. - Except as otherwise expressly provided, STN shall keep confidential the following:
a. The amount of money credited to, debited from, or present in any particular patron’s wagering account;
b. The amount of money wagered by a particular patron on any game or gaming device;
c. The account number and secure personal identification method that identifies the patron;
d. The identities of particular entries on which a patron is wagering or has wagered; and
e. The name, address, and other information in the possession of STN that would identify the patron to anyone other than the NGC Board or STN.
With regards to the information identified in Rule #22 above, STN:
a. Shall share the information with:
- The NGC Board.
- Financial institutions participating in a program established in accordance with Section 314(b) of the USA Patriot Act.
- As required by state or federal law.
- May share the information with:
- Any licensed affiliate of STN.
- A person who has been issued a nonrestricted license for an establishment where STN or its affiliates operate a race book or sports pool; and
- As authorized by the patron.
- A licensee shall suspend a wagering account if the wagering account has not been used to make any wagers for a consecutive 16-month period. The licensee may re-activate a suspended wagering account only after re-verifying the information required of this regulation and upon the patron presenting a current government issued picture identification credential.
